It’s always so special when I get to document couples who have been together through all the twists and turns of life and finally reach the altar. M + K’s love story is a perfect example. After 11 years of dating, starting all the way back in junior year of high school, they finally said “I do” and celebrated their forever together. Capturing the culmination of their journey was a true honor, and the joy of the day was palpable from start to finish.
Their wedding day was overflowing with happiness, from an emotional first look to the intimate moments shared throughout the ceremony and reception. M + K are an incredibly kind and calm couple, and their love for each other shone in every interaction. It was inspiring to witness the way they moved through their day with such ease, making the celebration feel both personal and heartfelt. The energy of the day was infectious, with guests clearly swept up in their excitement.
One of the most memorable highlights of the day was the cake presentation. It was unlike anything I’d seen before, fun, interactive, and delicious! M + K even tossed strawberries and blueberries into the audience, turning it into a moment that was part spectacle, part celebration. The cake itself was a standout, tasting far better than the average wedding cake, and the crowd couldn’t get enough of it. Alongside this, the dreamy bubble send-off created a whimsical, celebratory atmosphere that perfectly captured the joy of the day.
